Heart-mind Connection

Image
Heart-mind Connection   Brain-heart interaction is science. Heart-mind interaction is silence.   When the mind is full of ideas, we will have sleepless nights. When the heart is weightless, we will get better insights.   When the mind is quiet, we have nothing to worry. When the heart is heavy, everything will be blurry.   We will follow the mind when we look for a reason. We will follow the heart when the reason is passion.   When logic reigns emotions, we will be humble. When emotions reign logic, we will stumble.   When heart and mind sync, we will not sink. Let us trace and find the missing link.

Life En Route

Image
Life En Route   People will call you lucky if you never complain. Nevertheless, never complain.   People will call you selfish if you make things happen to you. Nevertheless, make things happen to you.   People will try to drain your smile if you are happy and smiling. Nevertheless, be happy and smiling.   People will call you fake if you are friendly with everyone. Nevertheless, be friendly with everyone.   Always face the sun. If you cannot see the sun, let the rain enthrall you. If the rain stops, let the flowers fascinate you. If flowers wither, let the butterflies charm you. If butterflies fly off, enjoy the dew drops on the grass.   Ordeals in life are fertilizers for your roots. You will be strengthened by adversity en route.   Now it may be dark and difficult to solve. But strong roots give confidence to evolve.   Let your eyes always catch things that excite and amaze you. Let y...

Thinking Backwards is not Backward Thinking

Image
Thinking Backwards is not Backward Thinking   Thinking forward starts from resume. Thinking backwards starts from eulogy.   Thinking forward is calculative. Thinking backwards is intuitive.   Thinking forward is building our dreams. Thinking backwards is building our identity.   Thinking forward is focused on the future and our strength. Thinking backwards is focused on things we regret at death.   Thinking forward is acquiring things of higher values. Thinking backwards is understanding us and our values.   For a regret-free life, Both forward and backward thinking are vital. Our predictions of the future can be erroneous, But the absolute truth is grieving over lost time. Let us start from how we want to be remembered.

Public Exam – Idioms poem

Image
Public Exam – Idioms  I have a monkey on my back. The ship has sailed, and my internal marks were out. My parents did not want to hear it from the horse’s mouth. As they felt it would be the devil quoting the Bible. They spent their whole nine yards getting that esteemed seat. It cost them an arm and a leg for that extra tuition. To address the elephant in the room is not a piece of cake. I am scared stiff as when it rains, it pours. I am now in a snowball’s chance in hell. Finally, they felt there was no use in crying over split milk. And decided to let the sleeping dogs lie and left the room. It is as right as rain and I believe every dog has its day.

Chance in Dance

Image
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXHAESOLIM8 Chance in Dance     As the annual day was coming in advance, School asked us to perform a group dance. We thought it would be joyful at first glance, But peace was the price as we started practice.   First was the selection of correct song. Should be easy for everyone to dance along. New and trendy, and beats should be strong. It should not prolong, and the lyrics cannot be wrong.   Quarrels and squabbles started to bloom, Regarding who will be in the center to perform. When the practice sessions started in zoom, Dispute regarding selection of correct costume.   As the D-Day started at evening Five, We sparkled in our costume alive. As we dive and strive and dance started to revive, Crowd applauded and we were made to thrive.

Toy Hunting

Image
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUdpBIKcIDY   Toy Hunting It is the start of holidays in summer. Time to get a new toy for our smaller. Suddenly, he wanted to be a drummer. The sound hit my head like a hammer.   Choosing the correct toy is a puzzle. Ended up getting a high-pitched whistle. Whistling pierced my ears like a missile. Getting it back from him was a hustle.   After searching a lot in shops, Squared off with a box of blocks. It was all over the hall and across. Pierced like a thorn between the walks.   Invaded the shop at daytime. Got a colorful box of slime. Though it was just a dime It stuck all over couch in no time.   My hunt for a good toy ended in vain. As it made me insane and drained my brain. But as he complains nothing to entertain, Could not abstain, and our toy hunt started again.

Morals and Money - Reverse poem

Image
Morals and Money   It is always money over morals.   We are wrong if we think They both travel different path.   Because at the end of the day, No one loves a beggar.   Only a distraught person will think, Lust for money makes a beggar.   Because no matter what Money can buy everything, That morals cannot buy.   There is no authentic truth We should always prefer Morals over money. ********************************* Morals over money We should always prefer.   There is no authentic truth That morals cannot buy, Money can buy everything.   Because no matter what Lust for money makes a beggar.   Only a distraught person will think No one loves a beggar.   Because at the end of the day, They both travel different path.   We are wrong if we think It is always money over morals.
